BIND FE

Phosphorus binder · buffered ferric
Granule 0.5–2 mm12% ironSelf-buffered30 kg / kg P

A buffered ferric granule for phosphorus removal in aerated systems where wetland biomass is harvested. It removes dissolved phosphorus as ferric phosphate and by adsorption onto ferrihydrite. Ferric hydrolysis consumes roughly 2.7 grams of alkalinity as calcium carbonate for every gram of iron, so the formulation carries its own carbonate and bicarbonate buffer — it is designed not to depress pond pH. Micronised bentonite weights the floc so it settles rather than drifting.

Composition: Ferric sulphate, calcium carbonate, bentonite.

Documentation

Technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS) travel with every order. For pond and tank water treatment only — not for addition to, or mixing with, feed. Claims are limited to water-quality parameters.

Key advantages
Self-buffered
No alkalinity loss
12% iron
Granular, low dust
Settles cleanly
Bentonite-weighted floc
Low cost per kg P
Bulk duty, granular
Aerobic systems only

Dosage & application

Dose against a measured phosphorus figure, broadcast dry, and let the floc settle undisturbed. For aerobic systems only — iron-bound phosphorus redissolves if the sediment turns anoxic.
