A pond water clarifier developed by Kelvin Bio Organics. It combines calcium bentonite sweep flocculation with a cationic bridging polymer, so suspended clay and organic solids aggregate and settle across the full salinity range — from freshwater grow-out to marine prawn ponds. Gypsum supports charge neutralisation of clay colloids in fresh and low-salinity water. It contains no surfactant, so it does not contribute to surface foam.
Composition: Calcium bentonite, gypsum, cationic starch.
Technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS) travel with every order. For pond and tank water treatment only — not for addition to, or mixing with, feed. Claims are limited to water-quality parameters.
Broadcast evenly across the pond surface. Rates are per metre of water depth and vary with salinity.
| Stage | Rate | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Marine · > 15 ppt | 37–62 kg / ha / m | Settles suspended clay and organic solids in marine prawn ponds. |
| Fresh · < 15 ppt | 75–125 kg / ha / m | Higher rate where gypsum charge neutralisation carries more of the work. |
| Heavy clay turbidity | 125–185 kg / ha / m | Repeat after 48 hours. TDS figure 15–50 kg / acre / 1 m. |
→ For pond and tank water treatment only. Not for addition to, or mixing with, feed. Users are advised to test suitability before adopting at commercial scale.
