Ionic correction supplied as bulk potassium chloride and magnesium sulphate. Inland and bore-fed Australian water is typically calcium-rich and short of both magnesium and potassium — the reverse of what a dolomite-based mineral mixture corrects. Rates are calculated from a water test against seawater ionic ratios, not read off a bag. In low-salinity culture, potassium deficiency is acute rather than chronic.
