ZDHC — Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals — is the programme the leather and textile industries use to keep restricted substances out of the water that leaves a tannery. Conformance is graded in levels, and Level 3 is the highest: independently verified against the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List, not simply self-declared.
Certified, not claimed
Every product in the Kelvin Care Leather range holds ZDHC Level 3, and the certificate travels with every order. That distinction matters. A supplier can claim a product is “compliant”; a Level 3 certificate is third-party proof you can hand to an auditor or a brand customer without further testing.
